A few of our favorite statement pieces for the home went into creating these vignettes. From designers like Kelly Wearstler, Jonathan Adler, and Piero Fornasetti, these stylish pieces can be used year round. By mixing them with simple holiday decorations, they create an ambience of Halloween Glam.
To create these dramatic foyers, we accessorized with painted pumpkins and gourds dressed up in gilded gold and pearlized white. We chose to mix unique pumpkin designs by using embellishments such as metallic studs, gold leaf, and glitter, hombre and paint dripped techniques, and geometric patterns. No carving needed for these beauties!
Designer Tip:
For holiday decor, focus on items you already own that can be repurposed during the seasonal shift. Mixing these accents with a few holiday decorations will give your home a new look. This will also save you time, money, and precious storage space.
Scheme#2-Transitional&Eclectic
The “Peachy Keen Halloween” theme, creates a transitional and eclectic style. Inspired by Florida beaches, we used hues of coral pinks, sunset orange, and turquoise blues.
For this vignette, we pulled together orange themed accents. Paired with the aqua blue and deep turquoise details, this look creates a harmonious balance of color and sets a very warm tone for our transitional Halloween theme. Feminine accents found in the chandelier set the tone for the soft, abstract artwork and floral accessories. The nectar velvet lounge chair and jade velvet ottoman create a delightful ambience for autumn and look quite sumptuous when paired next to gold detailing. An antique, Chinese ginger jar adds a hint of tradition, along with the Hermes bound books and trinket boxes to pique curiosity. Adler’s octagonal, swirling, green vase (inspired by malachite) will leave a memorizing impression on any trick-or-treater!
Halloween home décor does not have to be dark and scary. Instead it can be full of color, bewitching, and glamorous too!

Scheme#1-Modern
The “Black & Gold Glam” theme, makes a sophisticated and modern statement. It plays on geometric and fragmented shapes, bold pops of color that contrast with the black and white backdrop, and objects that intrigue. The rich velvet upholstery and starburst chandelier add to the luxurious feel. While Adler’s cheeky, lip vase (inspired by Salvador Dali’s Gala) and Wearstler’s bronze legs leave a “surreal” impression. Fornasetti’s “half skull face” candle features the house muse Lina Cavalieri and when lit will be sure to spook!
